Meet Allan and his hometown of Vancouver. The protagonist will tell us how his everyday life looks and also show us the city and the beauty of British Columbia’s nature. The book is divided into chapters in which the heroine presenting various topics related to her everyday life and the places and traditions associated with Japan. Glossaries with translations of selected words at the bottom of each page help in better understanding of the text. Each series is followed by a series of After Reading Activities. The book is closed by a four-page Test yourself section, which checks the general level of understanding and remembering the text read, as well as the language forms learned, as well as a Syllabus section containing a brief description of the didactic intentions implemented in the book.
