Verb Bingo – digital edition is a language game designed to work using a computer or interactive whiteboard that allows you to master 66 basic English verbs. The nature of the game: bingo, memory. Difficulty level: A1 (in level A1, the game offers the possibility to conduct the game in an easier or more difficult variant). Language goals: Learning or replaying 66 basic English verbs and expressions using them. Game rules: The game is intended for one or more players. Depending on the game option selected, the following screen appears on the computer screen: – one or three bingo boards with activity illustrations and a deck of cards with verbs, – one or three bingo boards with verbs and a deck of cards with action illustrations. The task of the fun participants (taking part in the game together or competing with each other) is to search and match the verbs placed on the cards to their pictorial equivalents on the board / boards or vice versa. After correct completion of all words from a given board / set of play boards, another player or group of people can join. In the case of accepting a variant of the game assuming an element of competition, the winner is the person who as part of his round will associate the words from his board / boards with their card counterparts. The ability to learn the pronunciation of words: Each time you click on the picture or word on the board, you can listen to the recorded pronunciation of the verb, thanks to which players have the opportunity to learn the sound and the correct articulation as well as to practice the pronunciation of individual words independently (for example by loudly repeating them). Application: The game is used both at home (playing with friends and family or private English classes), and during classes at school using a computer, a computer with a projector, or an interactive whiteboard. Additional benefits: The game Verb Bingo improves mental skills such as memory, concentration and perceptiveness, promotes effective memorization and teaches activity and healthy competition, and its ludic character facilitates the establishment of social relations and positively affects the reduction of distance between the student and the learner. The game was developed based on the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​- level A1.
